Its concept was launched by Daniel Leuwers in 2002, inspired by the illuminated manuscripts of René Char, which Leuwers frequented in his youth. the materials, formats and themes are usually proposed by Daniel Leuwers, what he himself calls the "rules of the game" The number of copies is limited to 4, 5, 6. one goes for reserves of the Priory of Saint-Cosme which holds a copy of each book, another is dedicated to traveling exhibitions and the rest is shared between the various stakeholders. All are original creations.
